Training on your own, at home or in the gym, with a four-week plan built around you. This page covers the plan, the exercise library, running a session, reminders and your data.

One week, start to finish

What happens between the first launch and the end of your first training week.

Language, look, a few slides

The first launch asks for a language and a light or dark look, then shows three short slides. Both can be changed later in Profile. There is no account and no sign-in: nobody has to register to use any of it.

About you

Age, sex, height, weight, how active your days are, your experience, and any injuries or problem areas you tap on the body map. The plan starts where you are and steers around what hurts. You also confirm that you have read the health notice — the app cannot start a plan without that.

Choose the kind of plan

The Train tab offers three ways in: Built for my goal (lose fat, build muscle, get stronger), Raise my numbers (push-ups, plank, pull-ups or a heavy lift, with weekly targets and tests) and Build my own, where you assemble the sessions and the app points out what the week is missing.

Home or gym

Say where you train and what equipment is in front of you, how many days a week and how long a session lasts. Today has a one-tap switch between Home and Gym: the plan is rebuilt for the other place, keeping your days and your journal.

Run a session

Every exercise opens with photos, the muscles it works and the steps. During a session you tick sets off, a rest timer runs between them, and you can note the load and rate the effort at the end.

Get reminded

Profile → Workout reminders schedules a notification on the weekdays of your plan, at the time you pick. The reminders are set on the phone itself.

Watch it add up

Progress shows totals, eight weeks against the plan, the split between home and gym, and your journal. If you were aiming at a number, the logged tests are charted there too.

Questions we get

Do I need an account?

No. There is nothing to register and nothing to sign in to. What you enter — your profile, plan, journal, test results and reminders — lives on your phone.

The plan does not suit me

Open About you in Profile and correct the details, or change the days, place or equipment when you build the plan again. Naming an injury makes the plan avoid loading that area and adds gentle routines under Recovery. Anything that hurts sharply is a reason to stop and see a professional, not to adjust the plan.

Where is the exercise library?

The Library tab holds 876 exercises that work offline: Home (no gym equipment needed) or Gym, a muscle filter and search. Each has two photos, the muscles, the equipment, the level and the instructions. It is open from the first launch, plan or no plan.

Which languages does it speak?

English, German, French, Spanish and Danish. The language is chosen in Profile and changes at once, without restarting. Exercise names and instructions follow it.

I get no reminders

Check that Workout reminders is switched on in Profile and that a time is set. If the app says notifications are turned off, open the app's entry in iOS Settings → Notifications and allow them. Reminders only fire on the weekdays your plan has sessions.

Paying for anything

The app takes no payment: no purchase screen, no subscription button, no card form. Nothing inside it is locked behind a fee.

The AI coach

The coach writes the plan from your answers — place, age, sex, height, weight, goal, experience, training days, minutes per session, equipment and any limitations you typed — and may only choose exercises that exist in the library.

Before anything is sent, the app shows a data-processing notice you can decline. Declining does not switch the coach off: the app's own generator writes the plan on your phone instead and nothing leaves the device. The same happens if the AI service cannot be reached or its answer cannot be read.

Sent when you agree: the intake answers only. Not sent: your name, your email address, your journal, or anything else from the device. The plan and the journal stay on the phone either way.

A plan is a starting point, not a prescription

A generated programme can be wrong while looking entirely right — a load, a rep range, an exercise that does not suit you. It knows nothing about your health beyond what you entered, and naming an injury makes the plan work around it, not diagnose it.

Olymp Pulse gives general training guidance, not medical advice, and does not replace a doctor, a physiotherapist or a coach watching you move. If a doctor has limited your exercise, get their go-ahead first. Under 18, talk to a parent or coach and keep loads light. The full text is under Profile → Health notice.

Your data

Everything you enter stays on the phone and goes when the app does. To delete it now, open Profile → Delete my data: your profile, plan, journal, test results and reminders are removed and the app starts again from the first screen. This cannot be undone. Because there is no account, there is nothing held about you for us to delete on a server on your behalf.

The photo permission is used only to pick a profile picture from your library. What is collected for analytics and attribution, and how long it is kept, is set out in the privacy policy.

Exercise names, instructions, muscles, equipment and photos come from the free-exercise-db project (public domain); some German, French and Spanish descriptions are adapted from wger (CC BY-SA 4.0). Authors are listed in Profile → Exercise data and credits.

The app needs an iPhone on iOS 16.0 or later.

Read on working days and normally answered within two of them. Three lines get most things solved in one reply:

A mailbox is not a phone line, so questions about a particular training day are best sent before it.
